Hello to the Teamsters family,

Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Eric Espinoza and I have been with Teamsters Local 481 for over 26 years and the last 8, as the shop steward (for the mechanics and oil/tire changers) for AvisBudget Group at the San Diego International Airport.

I am reaching out to all of the Teamsters’ Brotherhood at Local 481 to let you know why I am supporting Victor Torres and the Unity Slate. Victor has a proven track record and master communicator when dealing with union contract (CBA) and negotiation issues. Employers come to play “hard ball” during tense negotiation sessions, but Victor in his own unique professional way and well spoken demeanor is always up for the challenge in dealing with these types of scenarios. 

Victor’s passion and tireless dedication to us in fighting for our best interest is top notch and highly appreciated. When it comes to pay and benefits, he always holds out for the best possible outcome, no matter what’s on the table. I know without Victor leading the fight, I highly suspect the outcomes may not have been so positive. 

I have seen this first hand as being part of multiple CBA negotiated contracts.
