Standing Strong with Victor Torres: A Leader Who Fights for Every Member

Hi my name is Teresa Fonseca. I have been with the Merchandising Department and a proud Teamster member for 30 years. Victor has been our Teamster Leader as Secretary Treasurer for many years and has grown and fought for our rights and has never backdown especially when it came to our health benefits making sure we had 100% coverage when the Zoo wanted to negotiate our health benefits in exchange for our wages.

Victor stood up for us and understood the value of each employee and fought for livable wages and for our benefits to remain the same and untouched. I’m grateful how personable, caring and humble Victor Torres is with every employee. If you want to get to know him his doors are always open. Victor is a dedicated and passionate Leader that won’t stop fighting each contract until we are all heard. This is just the beginning of what he has done for us . The Zoo knows that Victor means unity and for that, I endorse yes for Victor Torres for Secretary Treasurer and the entire Unity Slate.
