35 Years at the Zoo — Leticia Reyes Endorses Victor Torres for Proven Leadership

Hi, this is Leticia Reyes and I just want to say that I am endorsing Victor Torres as Secretary Treasurer as well as the entire Unity Slate for the upcoming union election. I’ve known Victor Torres for over 30 years. 

I participated as a negotiating committee member in this year’s Zoo contract negotiations as well as several previous negotiations. Victor Torres’ composure and experience is what made this contract successful for our union members.

I have worked at the San Diego Zoo in the B&G department for over 35 years as a Local 481 member. The San Diego Zoo has been a rewarding place to work because we have been well represented by our union leadership and we are covered under a union contract as a Local 481 member all these years.
